I used the card primarily for the Metro. But it was good to know I could get into some of the attractions as well.

Very efficient, there was no waiting with the card. Transportation is also included. We only got the one day pass but managed to see sights worth 70+ euro in one day.

Good value with the convenience to hop on most transit systems, free or discounted admissions.

We are very glad to have purchased a (48 hours) Lisbon Card, which enable us to use public transport practically unlimited (tram, metro, elevator/funicular, train between Lisbon and Sintra/Cascais, bus), which is very practical if you plan to visit a number of Lisbon's attractions.
You also don't have the hassle of buying tickets for the tram, bus, metro or train, which often quite time consuming due to long line at the ticket machine (e.g. for trains).
And with Lisbon Card, you can visit quite a large number of these attraction free of charge (basically almost all of the important ones).
So for us, a Lisbon card is the perfect solution if you plan to explore Lisbon quite extensively, saving time and money.

I was relieved that a lift took you most of the way to the top, although there were still stairs to negotiate, so not ideal for those with mobility issues. However the views were outstanding, well worth the very fair price of admission, would definitely go again next time I am in Lisbon. No crowds, so could move around and enjoy it all on my own.
