The Lisboa Card is a contactless, personal and non-transferable card that is valid once you have filled in the date and time of first use, signed it and validated it on a form of public transport.

The Lisboa Card in four steps

1️⃣Buy your card

Buy your Lisboa Card online or visit the Askme Lisboa Desks to explore all the options.

2️⃣Get your card

When you arrive in Lisboa, visit a Askme Lisboa Desk to get your card. An #order confirmation email will be sent to you. Please send this email to redeem your card up to 30 minutes before closing time.

3️⃣Use your card

The card will be active the first time you use it. To visit the included locations, simply show your card at the entrance. Scan your card when entering any bus, train, tram or metro.

4️⃣Enjoy!

Good to know:

The following museums are temporarily closed for restoration works:

National Tile Museum;
National Museum of Ancient Art;
National Costume Museum;
National Theatre and Dance Museum;
National Archaeology Museum;

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos may be subject to some restrictions and limitations, of which we will be aware, in many cases, on the day itself.

Generally good

Generally good. I have no problem with the card overall in terms of purchasing and use except for one issue with Castelo de Sao Jorge.

I didn't realize the card could only be used once for Castelo de Sao Jorge. I went the evening on the day I flew in to Lisbon, one hour before closing, thinking I could use it the next morning (thinking it would still be free admission for 72 hours), however a front desk staff member at Castelo de Sao Jorge then told me the next morning he couldn't let me in because it was one time use only. I then talked to the LisboaCard office staff (at Praca do Comércio) who said that the Castelo de Sao Jorge staff front desk was wrong and that I should be able to go back in again to Castelo de Sao Jorge as long as it has been 24 hours since my last entry. So then I tried again the morning of 2 days later (still within 72 hour period), and again the same Castelo de Sao Jorge front desk staff told me again that the staff member at LisboaCard office was wrong and that at Castelo de Sao Jorge they do it differently and that it is only one time use, so he wouldn't let me in again unless I paid the entry fee of 17.50 euros which I ended up doing in the end.

So white I wish I didn't have to pay again, it's not a big deal but kind of annoying that there is this miscommunication between the Castelo de Sao Jorge front desk and the LisboaCard office staff. And I think it should be more clearly stated that Castelo de Sao Jorge has stricter rules than the other attractions.

Merece completamente al pena. Es posible que el ahorro no sea gigante, pero facilita muchísimo la estancia en la ciudad, tanto en las visitas a monumentos como en el trasporte público.

Bien,excepto monasterio de los Jeronimos

La tarjeta a funcionado como se espera en los lugares donde hemos entrado excepto en el monasterio de los Jeronimos. Dos horas de cola, no nos había pasado en ningún otro monumento de europa. Las filas de cuatro horarios entraron antes que la de Lisboa card. Inaudito. Para eso es mejor que no entre este monumento en la tarjeta.
