The Lisboa Card is a contactless, personal and non-transferable card that is valid once you have filled in the date and time of first use, signed it and validated it on a form of public transport.

The Lisboa Card in four steps

1️⃣Buy your card

Buy your Lisboa Card online or visit the Askme Lisboa Desks to explore all the options.

2️⃣Get your card

When you arrive in Lisboa, visit a Askme Lisboa Desk to get your card. An #order confirmation email will be sent to you. Please present this email to redeem your card up to 30 minutes before closing time.

3️⃣Use your card

The card will be active the first time you use it. To visit the included locations, simply show your card at the entrance. Scan your card when entering any bus, train, tram or metro.

4️⃣Enjoy!

The following museums/attractions are temporarily closed for restoration works:

✅ For discounted attractions, such as the Palaces in Sintra you must present the card directly at the ticket office and pay the difference. It is not possible book or buy tickets online with the Lisboa Card.

It doesn't make any sense

I bought the card online just to be sure I could get tickets to the places I wanted to visit. But reservations are not allowed if You don't have the card (phisical), and the Information's office in Baixa opens at 10 am, Is this a joke?

Mobile vouchers

I ordered this card from your site, but I have not received the mobile voucher yet; I only received a confirmation email for my order. How can I get the mobile voucher?

You just have to present the order as voucher at any Askme Lisboa Tourism Desk on your arrival to redeem for the physical card. On the order confirmation that you received there’s the information and more.

Not an online card.

Expensive - only available as. 3 day card. Not accepted unless booked in advance at museums, only available in the centre of Lisbon (you have to physically visit) not as an online card.

We would also like to clarify that, among the museums and monuments included in the Lisboa Card, the only ones that currently require a reservation are the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery. For the other museums and monuments included in the card, no prior reservation is required.

A big disappointment for us

We've read about the Lisboa card in various places and we decided to buy it for Just one day, for us parents and our teenage son.
Unfortunately, neither the clerk at the tourist office in praca do comercio, nor the brochure he gives us, mention that museum tickets need to be booked in advance!!!! So, on the chosen day, we activated the pass on tram 28 and then we could not enter any museum, because the tickets were sold out!!! We try to Belem tower and moistero dos Jeronimos, where the staff treated us poorly!!!

It’s important to note that both monuments are subject to a capacity management policy implemented by their respective managing entities, which limits the number of visitors admitted each day. For this reason, reservations are made available in real time, subject to availability, and can only be made with an active physical Lisboa Card.
This information is provided in advance to Lisboa Card users to alert them that access to these monuments is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
The Lisboa Card, however, continues to provide free access to 51 museums and monuments, as well as unlimited travel on public transportation. Although the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery are two of the most popular sites with the most limited capacity, there are dozens of other cultural and heritage sites of great interest that can be visited without the need for a prior reservation.
We hope that, despite this inconvenience, you had the opportunity to enjoy your visit to Lisbon and discover many of its other points of interest.

Very convenient, BUT...

Very convenient, but it would have been better if I had the card number (which is required to make reservations) in advance. Had a late flight and missed everything that required reservations on the next day.
