CoolTour - Mysterious Sintra

Sintra was a summer vacation spot for the Portuguese Royal Family and a meeting place for Lisbon's high society. Summer residences, chalets, villas and palaces were built that gave the town its picturesque fairytale appearance.

Quinta da Regaleira is one of these places full of vegetation of the most diverse origins, combined with architectural structures with multiple influences and with a careful selection of the best materials, giving it sceneries worthy of the best open-air operas and that has the Initiation Well as its main attraction.

Close to Regaleira, the Biester Palace is another treasure trove of botanical diversity and architectural revivalism, with beautiful viewpoints to Sintra's most emblematic palaces. Its high point was the shooting of the movie "A Nona Porta", with Johnny Depp in the cast. Not to be missed!
